"Talent untarnished and unique happens every once in a great while.  In my 25 years
as a performing musician, Ashley Jordan is among the best I've heard.  A natural talent,
she has an incredible voice with heartfelt stories to share.  Ashley approaches each
song without pretentious agenda, but only one goal...to evoke emotions in her audience.
Honest, charming and best of all: fearless.  That's Ashley Jordan.”

"Ashley has blossomed into a well trained singer/songwriter - and chatting with her,
I had to question her age:  'Are you REALLY just 17?!'  She is poised and possesses
the confidence and maturity of a Music City veteran . . . and this veteran writer
sees her headed precisely in that direction."

"Ashley Jordan is truly a rising star just about to shine super brightly in the world of
music with her combination of musical talent, knack for storytelling, and beyond-her-years
professionalism.  I say 'Go Girl,' and can't wait to follow her career as it takes off."

"What were you doing musically when you were seventeen years old?  Never mind musically.
What were you doing, period?  Of all the artists I've ever interviewed, Ashley Jordan is one of the
most focused people I've had the pleasure to talk to.  This young lady is only a junior in high school,
but already she's released a CD and is looking to build a future in the music business.  I talked to this
talented upstart one beautiful spring evening and she outlined her musical goals.  If our conversation is
any indication of her drive and determination, we can all plan on buying her albums in the near future."

"Indie Folk Singer/Songwriter Ashley Jordan sings with a wonderful softness to her voice
that naturally comforts the soul.  Jordan, who is only 17 years old, also sings with a level of
wisdom and maturity that one can enjoy each beautiful note that comes from her voice.
Add her crafted songwriting into the mixture and Jordan delivers like a true champion."

"Coming from the picturesque town of Harvard, MA nestled in New England, this creative soul brings honesty back to music. This 17 year old musician knows who she is and writes her music from her heart; no regularities and clichés. Facing the realities of what it means to be a teenager inside of what sometimes can be a stereotypical “Mean Girls” world Ashley fights back with colorful sounds and the freedom to be creative. She started her music career at the age of 14 and in the past four years she has made strides to further her career more than most adults have. Clearly driven, Ashley works to finish school and also taking college classes somehow she finds time to focus on music. Her voice will shock you and don’t be afraid of the pinch of country twang ...she’s not Taylor Swift though she admires her art. Her depth, soul and style make her relatable to most everyone; paired with content gives an untouched sound to music. This year has been filled with performances, writing and music…just as any musician would wish for Ashley’s ready to take the world by storm."

Great Times . . . .

Ashley:

"Ellis Paul concert was amazing - he is a God!  Met with his manager and was introduced to Ellis personally.  What a great guy and an amazing musician.  This picture is backstage with Ellis.

Ellis Paul is one of my biggest influences.  Told him my favorite song was "Annalee" when I met him!  During the show, Ellis unplugged his guitar and came into the audience and dedicated and sang the song to me.  One of THE BEST experiences of my life!"

Ashley's Guestbook
    • Ashley, tonight was the first time I heard you sing and I thought you were great! I brought your CD home for my sister to hear. I love your songs and I can't wait to see you preform again. Erin

    • Hi Ashley,

I just wanted to say you have a beautiful voice and unique style...watching your MWCC talent video reminded me of the artist Jewel, who I had idolized for years - what a great style you have. I also took voice lessons for years and joined a band during high school, doing some cover songs from Bob Dylan, Guns N Roses, etc....also performed in the musical "Grease" where I played Betty Rizzo back in high school as a junior. I met with Wardell Helps from Stepping Out Productions (this was back in 2002) who wanted to sign me and utilize Britney Spears' pianist as my accompanist ...I turned that down because I was fearful of leaving what I had always known...Wow, how time flies! I am now married and hoping to start a family soon ...all I have to say is "keep going" and don't stop! I look back now and wish I had acted on something...you are truly wonderful and I will follow you until you reach the top and beyond as I can see how much this means to you! Seeing that you are already successful makes me so happy and you have brought me back to my childhood...which I had forgotten about - thank you for that. Good luck and go for it!!

      Dianne

    • Ashley was great on Friday night....we look forward to her playing solo at the cafe. We are thrilled to showcase local new talent to the metrowest community. Thanks Ashley!
